Plan and implement educational programs focusing on diversity issues for the entire University community; create community building opportunities for students who are students of color, multi-racial and/or have multiple indentites, LGBT.
Bachelors' degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, or Social Science and
Masters' degree in Higher Education or Student Personnel Administration.
3 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience working with students of color, developing programs, and providing advisement.
Experience working with students in a college or university setting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Ability to solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Experience developing or administering a mentorship program. Knowledge of media and presentation software.
