The New Jersey Child Support Institute has been established at Rutgers School of Social Work to provide statewide training to workers at all experience levels and in all components (Judiciary, County Welfare Agencies and administrative offices) of the New Jersey child support program. Reports to the Associate Program Manager, Curriculum. Will be responsible for developing new procedures around curriculum development and training within the institute, collaborating with other managers within the institute to develop project plans that would ensure their immediate work units complete work consistent with the mission, vision, role and goals of the institute and developing content, designing content output, and producing improvement plans targeting performance goals. Will also be responsible for hiring and evaluating curriculum development consultants needed for assigned programs, creating direct relationships with internal and external clients, the funding source, vendors, and subject matter experts in a variety of fields and working with the evaluation team to develop tools that measure effectiveness of the curriculum and the expectations of the adult learner. Will facilitate special project needs such as developing and implementing outreach efforts, conference presentations, and train-the-trainer sessions and collaborate with the project managers on a regular basis regarding all aspects of curriculum development and design, as well as training delivery. Will participate in dry runs, pilots and debrief meetings of new courses as an observer noting edits and flow of materials as needed, as well as in the institute team meetings, training update meetings, conferences promoting the institute, and SSW/IFF events and meetings as schedule permits. Will also facilitate Subject Matter Expert meetings and focus groups as needed and collaborate with constituents to lead and coordinate development and delivery

Job Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree and an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience with at least five years’ experience in developing and implementing successful training programs and managing staff. Also requires effective public presentation, report writing, data management, goal assessment planning, project management and communication skills. Must have computer skills with Word, research, curricula design, database and presentation software.

Special Conditions
Requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout New Jersey as needed.
