Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Organize and conduct system-wide initiatives, events and projects of varying size and complexity.
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a project:
Identify resources and establish project schedules
Move projects forward and accelerate progress
Provide first line support to improvement teams
Maintain project documentation
Provide input and assist in the development of project materials and PI tools
Provide project status reports to the Director of Quality.
Responsible for creating a culture of innovation, learning, teamwork and professionalism, consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Establish effective mechanisms of communication with staff and the management team to foster an environment of openness, trust, teamwork and staff development.
Participate in establishing and preparing departmental goals, standards, procedures, and instructions, which contribute to the effectiveness of the department in accordance with organizational goals.
Contribute to the development of Quality and Patient experience metrics for the organization. Assist in creation and implementation of educational tools and communication related to the metrics chosen.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of three years of clinic management experience preferred.
Project Management certification preferred.
Previous experience in performance improvement.
Strong computer skills including advanced experience with Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Experience with healthcare IT applications (TouchWorks/AllScripts, EPIC) and Groupcast preferred.
Experience with Press Ganey preferred.
Experience with Occurrence Reporting preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills.
