ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Identify the target group to participate in the promotion or event.
Design the structure of promotions, including how and why the promotion will work, when the promotion will run, where the points of interaction will be in the casino, who is eligible to participate, and what the ultimate goal is.
Propose and maintain a budget for each promotion/event.
Create a pro forma profit and loss statement for the promotion to predict the profitability of the promotion.
Work with the Graphics Department to develop the content, look, quality, quantity, and location of promotional materials.
Work with the Purchasing Department and vendors to secure the most ideal décor & giveaway items for the promotion.
Work with the Entertainment & Production Departments to book talent and ensure promotion/event site has proper sound, lighting and overall appearance.
Work with all other departments such as Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Transportation, Security, etc. to develop event layouts and menus and to ensure that every aspect of execution is seamless.
Conduct guest payouts and ensure promotions are in compliance with Gaming Commission regulations.
Inform Casino Marketing team members of any responsibilities related to promotions/events.
Educate team members about upcoming promotions/events using all available media.
Track and report promotion/event results and feedback.
Perform as emcee for promotions, events, and tournaments.
As requested, may assist in performing the daily Casino Marketing Department operational functions, such as taking pictures, preparing daily paper work, filing documents, and performing various other departmental duties.
Practices Viejas guest hospitality standards while performing job duties and responsibilities.
Performs other related and compatible duties as assigned.
