PART TIME POSITION- FAMILY CENTER
In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served by Kennedy Krieger Institute, provides part-time direct clinical psychiatry services within the Family Center. Reports to the Clinical Director of the Outpatient Psychiatry, Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Provides direct psychiatric services at the Kennedy Krieger Institute that is consistently competent and of high quality.
Maintains an active participation in advocacy and public policy in appropriate national professional organizations.
Complies with all Kennedy Krieger, state, federal and other regulatory agencies, including The Joint Commission requirements pertaining to medical procedures in an outpatient mental health setting including implementation and documentation of medical services. To specifically comply with timely submission of administrative paperwork including diagnostic reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and time study sheets as per Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Joint Commission regulations.
Facilitates efficient and effective interface with other clinician and educational services in the Kennedy Krieger Schools, Neurobehavioral Unit Outpatient Clinic, Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic.
Maintains a clinical caseload in the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic.
- Medical Doctor
- Board Eligible / Certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Current medical license in the State of Maryland
- Must have substantial experience and reputation as a Clinician in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Have a strong background in psychiatric aspects of developmental disabilities in children and adolescents.
