Prepares line for packing by obtaining necessary supplies including stencils. Assembles corrugated boxes. Packs product coming off the line and weights/packs product in cases. Maintains a clean work area at all times. Confirms code dates, weights, and counts are accurate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors code dates on package.
Obtains boxes, skids, labels, lids, and any necessary supplies.
Applies labels and/or tape to cartons, and/or packages.
Stencils and makes corrugated boxes.
Cleans equipment at the end of the production run.
Packs product coming off the line and inspects quality of packaging.
Observes all plant safety rules, GMP’s and attends appropriate training.
Maintains clean work area at all times.
Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
Performs other duties as necessary.
Basic math skills required. Must speak basic English. Good manual dexterity and vision.

Hairnet, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and mask as needed.
Job Specific Requirements:
