Global Competition Review, a London-based antitrust law magazine and news service, is looking for a summer reporting intern to cover antitrust, regulation and business news from its Washington, DC, office.

Since it began in 1996, GCR has been considered among the world’s leading antitrust and competition law news services and magazines, with subscribers within government enforcement, the legal industry and the wider business community on six continents. Reporting interns will be asked to research, report and write breaking news and analysis for our daily news service, as well as stories that will appear in our monthly magazine and assist with other projects as needed. Reporting topics will range from federal civil and criminal court cases, to personnel moves among some of the country’s largest law firms. Reporters will be asked to rely on court documents, data, regulatory filings and source interviews to craft analytical and timely news stories for a deeply sophisticated audience, written in a style and tone that cuts through jargon and spin to deliver accessible prose.

The position, based in GCR’s Foggy Bottom office, will be paid commensurate with experience. The internship will last for two months, from early June until early August. Start and end dates are flexible depending on a candidate’s school or work schedule, with the possibility of full-time employment when the internship period ends. Candidates with some experience covering crime and courts are preferred, as are candidates with a legal education or background.

Please send a resume, brief cover letter and up to three published clips, attached as Microsoft Word documents, to Ron Knox, Features Editor, at intern@globalcompetitionreview.com. Or mail the above materials to:
