The Painter shall be responsible for maintenance and repair of all surface finishes throughout the interior and exterior of the casino and auxiliary facilities. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
Three (3) to four (4) years professional work experience in painting and either plasterwork, drywall or wallpaper installation.
Painting learned through apprenticeship or informal, on-the-job instruction. (Although training authorities recommend completion of an apprenticeship program as the best way to become a painter, most opt for informal training.)
Apprenticeship for painters consists of three (3) to four (4) years of on-the-job training. Apprentices receive instruction in color harmony, use and care to tools and surface preparation, application techniques, paint mixing and matching, characteristics of different finishes, blueprint reading, wood finishing and safety.
High school diploma or its equivalency required.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.

Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino. Including interior and exterior environments, tight spaces and areas of considerable height (90 feet above ground level).
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community in all situations.
