Palliative Care Nurse Prac
Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse with additional preparation and skills in physical and skills and physical and psychosocial assessment, and in diagnosis and management of health-illness needs of all ages. The Nurse Practitioner is a primary care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for the continuity of health care regardless of the presence or absence of disease.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Successful completion of a nurse practitioner program
wo years experience in acute ambulatory care or currently enrolled in Master in Nursing with completion of Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Association
License / Certification:
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the California Board of Registered Nurses.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number issued by the California Board of Registered Nurses, or eligible with completion of didactic preparation.
