Paralegal needed for the Legal department supporting Attorney’s in the Securitized Products, Corporate Governance and Litigation departments.

Responsibilities

Ø

Reviewing, commenting and bringing to execution various confidentiality and related agreements

Ø

Preparation, maintenance and updating of securities offering documents (including prospectuses, fact sheets, websites), under attorney supervision.

Ø

Updating and maintaining the bank’s standard form agreements with counterparties.

Ø

Negotiate confidentiality agreements with oversight from Attorney.

Ø

Maintain filings for the Corporate Governance department.

Ø

Providing legal research assistance on legal issues impacting the business.

Ø

Interact with business partners and outside legal counsel on related matters.

Ø

Undertake projects and other assignments, as necessary, under attorney direction.

Qualifications

Ø

Minimum

: candidate must have a bachelor’s degree.

Ø

Highly organized, detail-oriented and have a high degree of accuracy and proficiency by nature.

Ø

High energy and dynamic personality with good communication skills; self-motivated.

Ø

Ability to handle confidential information, and take on assignments and projects when needed.

Ø

Flexibility in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.

Ø

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) and familiarity with databases, ability to learn additional programs and information management systems.

Ø

Working knowledge of Lexis-Nexis and research tools.
