The position functions as the liaison between the Assurant locations, managers, vendors and the Legal Department to ensure contract resources working at Assurant have the appropriate legal agreements, insurance requirements and associated work orders assigned. Key responsibilities
IT Professional Services Agreements (PSA), Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and Certificate of Insurance (COI)
IT Statement of Services (SOS) and Change Authorizations (CA)
Facility Services Agreements (FSA), and Certificate of Insurance (COI)
Facility Statement of Services (SOS) and Change Authorizations (CA)
Act as a Subject Matter Expert as needed
Field calls from vendors and provide information with respect to process and contract terms to vendors and mangers.
Complete projects needed by Managing Attorney
Qualifications Required skills/experience
4 year college degree and Paralegal certification
4 to 6 years emphasis in contract work with an with an emphasis in IT and/or Facilities work preferred.
Demonstrated negotiation skills in corporate contracts and facility agreements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask on a variety of projects
Excellent customer services skills
Function on an independent basis and be a team player. The employee will need to function with minimal guidance in the day-to-day accountabilities from management.
Well organized and able to manage unpredictable workload
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Accurate and detail oriented
Skilled in MS Office Products (MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, eRoom processes) Desired skills/experience
Microsoft PowerPoint
