Provides paralegal, administrative and investigative support to attorneys and investigators. Assists with case management system maintenance, comprehensive documentation of all efforts and trial preparation regarding child abuse and neglect case load.
Collects, examines, files and summarizes reports, documents, and other evidence relevant to assigned cases.
Manages file and information maintenance of case management database system.
Prepares pleadings, motions, subpoenas and other court documents in support of trial preparation.
Investigates missing documentation or information needed.
Prepares investigative notes/findings for reviewing attorney.
Prepares investigative reports.
Assists attorneys and investigators in documentation of all efforts on all cases.
Assists with field investigations as directed.
Assists with field service of process and subpoenas as directed.
Purges closed matters and maintains closed file system.
Assists department in other administrative needs as identified.
Maintains statistical and other departmental information.
Associates degree in Paralegal studies. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Subpoenas, secures, reviews, summarizes and maintains reports, documents, and other evidence relevant to assigned cases.
Manages legal administrative responsibilities associated with large case loads.
Conducts extensive data entry of case related efforts and information.
Creates and manages automated legal forms system.
Writes, edits, and runs SQL based queries to create customized reports on office caseloads/clients.
Utilize SQL queries to generate statistical information and reports.
Act as a point of contact with database customer support and basic troubleshooting.
Ensures comprehensive maintenance of case file documentation.
Adheres to departmental case management timelines.
