We have exciting opportunities for Paralegal/Legal Assistants in Washington, DC .
Provide customer service to claimants and attorneys who call the VCF Helpline, track and report regarding the same, as well as support claims processing.
Four Year Degree.
Requires completion of Paralegal training and certification of the same from an accredited institution.
Must have legal knowledge, including knowledge of standard legal citation system sufficient to perform legal research.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and WestLaw.
Should have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications.
Customer Service experience is a must.
Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.
Must be able a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
Claims processing experience such as worker's compensation, veterans' benefits, or social security disability.
