The Enterprise & Operations Support team of the Annuities Law Department has an opening for a motivated and high achieving paralegal. We service our internal business clients by providing legal advice and guidance relating to the issuance, administration, servicing and management of products administered by Prudential Annuities annuity products and related corporate, finance and actuarial initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake research projects on questions of law and prepare legal memoranda on a variety of annuities issues, including state laws, regulatory, product management and customer issues that impact the administration of our products. The candidate will work with all levels of employees in numerous business client departments and will be the primary contact for the coordination of responses to our internal business clients related to business as usual contract maintenance inquiries consulting with attorneys as needed. The candidate will also assist in the preparation of state insurance holding company filings and 10Q/10K filings for our issuing companies.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in annuities and/or life insurance. Experience with SEC filings under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 will be considered.
Solid legal research and writing experience and sound project management skills.
Current proficiency in Microsoft Word, EXCEL and Lotus Notes is a necessity.
A bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate.
The ability to multi-task and to effectively interact with various business client departments is crucial.
Have a willingness to ask questions and proactively seek information necessary to fulfill responsibilities.

Have excellent organization and prioritization skills.
