To support legal department with general corporate, intellectual property, compliance and organizational matters.
Apply systems and word processing skills in the creation, analysis, maintenance and modification of a variety of documents and document libraries
Exercise strong verbal and written communication skills in working with (i) fellow employees, (ii) vendors, (iii) customers, and (iv) regulators in solving problems and resolving documentation and other legal issues
Reviewing and maintaining corporate records and minutes
Assist with maintaining compliance with state business statutes, including management of various state filings around the country, registrations for the authority to conduct business, annual report filings, licensing applications and renewals, and other requirements as necessitated by state statute
Provide support and training to REG employees on an array of legal issues
Work on corporate matters for which confidentiality may be very important
Provide administrative support to attorneys
Actively participate in company-wide initiatives
Conducts research on projects as directed by attorneys.
Perform other duties as requested

BASIC MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Basic office conditions exist, with occasional exposure to fats and oils, chemicals and biodiesel and seasonal temperature changes.
Education Required : A bachelors or paralegal degree
Experience Required : Minimum two to five years paralegal experience, preferably in a general corporate practice. Background in contracts, due diligence and compliance will be helpful.
Skills Required : Strong analysis, synthesis and communication skills required. Decision-making, oral and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required with superior attention to detail. Project management and problem solving required.
