hospital emergency department (ED), ambulance emergency response, in-flight emergency response, non-in-flight emergency response, transfer and transport services for active duty military personnel, their dependents, retirees, their dependents and other eligible beneficiaries, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. The EMT-P will be required to assist with patient care within the ED when not performing emergency response or transport services. EMT-P shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility.
Educat ion. Graduation from an accredi ted EMT -pa ramedic (EMT -P ) certification program; A current, valid paramedic license and certif i catio n from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT); Curren t certification in Bas i c Life Support (BLS), Advanced Ca rdiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pre-hospita l Trauma Life Support (PHTLS); Additional certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is pr e f erred , but not required.
