The paraprofessional will provide instructional assistance to students in need of intervention services. This position will also assist in individual and small group instruction, and participation in weekly planning sessions, and the preparation of daily lesson plans for students under the direction of the classroom teacher.
Candidates must have the ability and knowledge necessary to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics; or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness.
We are seeking candidates that are reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work and have a strong set of core values.
Candidates are required to have at least 60 college credits or passing scores on the ACT WorkKeys or ETS Paraprofessional exam. We prefer candidates who have an Associate’s Degree and are pursuing a degree in the field of Education OR a valid teaching license with the State of Michigan.
