Safeguards District personnel and facilities under his/her jurisdiction, primarily while on foot patrol at selected sites.
Observes policies and procedures listed in Security Operations DISD Officer Handbook.
Dresses appropriately for work.
Patrols assigned area.
Reports to his/her supervisor and/or Central Control, any act deemed necessary.
Writes reports of unusual activities or incidents.
Follows work schedule as assigned.
Attends meetings as called by supervisors.
Shows proper respect for supervisors.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Accredited Senior High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency)
Related work experience.
Completion of or current enrollment in, a state-approved security training course.
Selected individuals for Dallas Independent School District positions will be placed according to current District promotional policy and compensation guidelines.
