This is a full time temporary position

Job Description:
Process customer telephone inquiries in a prompt and professional manner. Assist in processing in person customer payments. It is an essential function of this job to respond to customer calls promptly at the start of the business day and throughout the work day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Process quarterly and monthly billing of all retail water and sewer customers.

+ Process daily cash reconciliation of office and lock box customer receipts and electronic payments.

+ Process daily posting of all cash receipts to customer accounts.

+ Create and maintain all new water and sewer accounts.

+ Load and unload of meter routes on Sensus system.

+ Perform variance analysis on all routes before billing.

+ Responsible for all aspects of the billing cycles including delinquent notices, shut-off notices, lien notices.

+ Process quarterly liens and satisfactions.

+ Correspond with title companies regarding water and sewer certifications, etc.

+ Perform wholesale water and sewer billing analysis.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation-this company is not accessible by Septa.

High School Diploma or GED required. Additional certificate or college level business courses desirable. Must have accounts Receivable experience, experience with collections and math aptitude customer service abilities.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills with prompt and pleasant telephone manner. Ability to handle customers questions, issues, and problems with skill and accuracy. Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and have ability to multi task in fast paced environment. Possess accurate data entry skills with experience with MS Word, and Excel. Experience with utility billing software a plus.
