Responsible for supporting the LP/Ops Manager and Receiving Lead by overseeing all aspects of shipping/receiving of new goods, returning defective/broken goods to original source for claims, processing damaged goods for inventory control and handling pricing discrepancies. Also responsible for processing web orders, completing paperwork, and shipping merchandise. This position is approximately 30 to 31 hours per week and may include some Saturday hours. |
Primary duties involve processing new merchandise in a timely, organized manner
Ensure all damage/defective goods are claimed within corporate guidelines
Process MOS goods for inventory control
Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding shipment errors/delays
Performs additional tasks as required
Building Effective Teams
High school diploma/equivalency required. Excellent verbal/written skills with a minimum of one year's retail/manufacturing experience with prior receiving experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity is essential. Individual must have good organizational skills, conflict resolution/problem solving abilities; possess a professional demeanor, and basic sales knowledge.
