The primary purpose of the Part Time Audio Visual Technician is to perform basic day-to-day functions as part of show preparation and production. Responsibilities include:
Interfacing with the Sales staff, Account Executives, Production Managers, Department Managers and the Sr Audio/Visual Engineer concerning event production and operational procedures.
At Show-site could range from Lead Audio Engineer, Monitor Engineer, Audio/Visual Assist, System Tech, Equipment Coordinator. and include activities such as load-in, load-out, install, dismantle, labor direction, system engineering, console and equipment operation and client relations.
Working directly with Inventory Control to ensure complete equipment coverage on shows as well as scheduling and pulling equipment.
Coordinating and/or assisting both technical and labor crews.
Perform general maintenance and upkeep on high-end audio/visual equipment
Now that you know what the position does, do you have the background to do the job?
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2 and 5 years of related experience.
Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting and general AV.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, punctual and able to meet deadlines while providing a high level of customer service for general Warehouse Technician roles.
