This individual will support Cisco's Core Switching and Routing Solutions within the West Area Connected Architectures Organization. The role will report to the Manager of Partner Operations for Connected Architectures. The primary focus of this role is to lead the Core Switching and Routing GTM with Channel Partners within the West Area.
This individual will have primary responsibility for the development and on-going support of the following key business initiatives between Partners in the assigned geography and Cisco:
Partner & field channels enablement
Opportunity development (sales mentoring, strategic sales calls, cold calling, etc.),
Marketing and demand generation
Coordination of cross functional activity.
The successful candidate will align development plans, go to market strategies, and metrics to drive solution sales anchored in core but well versed in adjacent Cisco Architecture strategies. In addition, he/she should leverage experience from other Areas and accounts to bring best practices to the local team for the acceleration and adoption of Cisco’s Core Solutions portfolio.
In addition to working independently across many of the Cisco functional areas; Channels, Direct Sales, Business Unit, Strategic Alliances, and Marketing, the candidate must demonstrate an ability to excel within a team environment. The ability to develop and sustain virtual teams is essential. The candidate should exhibit strong sales skills, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
Ideal Candidate should have minimum of 5 years experience in a Channels role with quota carrying Sales Experience.
