Industry partnerships are critical to Cloudant ’s market growth and to the Cloudant user experience. We are seeking a Partner Marketing Manager who will expand Cloudant ’s partner network and work with partners to conceive and execute joint awareness and lead generation programs. Cloudant ’s expanding network of partners includes Amazon, Heroku, Joyent, Microsoft, Rackspace, SoftLayer, and others. Responsibilities: The Partner Marketing Manager will report to Cloudant ’s VP Marketing and work very closely with the Cloudant Business - Development team.

He or she will be responsible for the following: - Enrolling Cloudant in app development PaaS partner programs (e.g., https://addons.heroku.com/catalog/). - Creating and executing the Cloudant joint marketing calendar. - Running partner marketing programs - PR, webinars, meetups, events, content creation, etc. - Organizing field training programs on Cloudant for partners.

  • Creating measurement programs for partner marketing ROI. - Helping to identify new platform as a service (PaaS) and other partner targets. Requirements: - 3 - 4+ years success within the software industry as a partner marketing manager or marketing communications specialist. - Familiarity with the application development or database management software fields is a big plus.
  • Well-rounded marketing communications experience - involvement with domestic and international PR, events, social marketing. - Excellent written communication skills and ability to create good field marketing content. - Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Pardot (or other marketing automation). - Initiative taker, analytic thinker and a charismatic personality.
  • Willing and able to travel (globally) to support partner events.
