Partnership Activation Coordinator - Minnesota Wild (St. Paul, MN)

TITLE: PARTNERSHIP ACTIVATION COORDINATOR

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: SENIOR MANAGER, CORPORATE SERVICES

POSITION SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION

The Partnership Activation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of corporate partnership deliverables including client service and correspondence, event and game day support and other department duties as assigned. This position plays a key role in growing sales revenues, managing high profile accounts and assuring a quality experience for our clients. Candidates should be timely, reliable, flexible, passionate and willing to work independently within a team and results oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage key Corporate Partnership accounts including daily administrative support, presentations and coordination of contract elements
  • Maintain great relationships with partners and be the main point of contact for the organization
  • Work in conjunction with internal staff including Marketing and Communications staff on all partnership contractual obligations and the fulfillment of elements
  • Attend weekly meetings to review corporate partner fulfillment status, opportunities, new programs and promotions
  • Meet with Corporate Sales team members and assigned clients at season end to complete year-end review and needs analysis
  • Prepare customized summaries that successfully meet client objectives, and ensure renewals for upcoming season
  • Manage all contract deliverables through regular review, communications and execution to ensure complete fulfillment
  • Identify and prospect new leads for corporate partnerships Corporate Sales Team
  • Assist Corporate Sales team in up-selling current partners into new programs and opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 5 year sales and/or related marketing experience working in the sports and entertainment industry or similar field
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
3. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong organizational, planning and implementation skills
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Abilty to work well independently within team and service oriented environments
WORK CONDITIONS

  • Available weekdays as well as some evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games, programs or other events
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
