The Parts Crib Attendant will order and maintain inventory of parts as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
Enter data into the inventory system on receipts, consumption, and disbursement or parts.
Contact vendors for needed repairs.
Order and distribute parts for the maintenance department.
Maintain stock parts and parts room in an organized and clean status.
May assist with mold and neck tooling changes.
Assist maintenance staff with mechanical repairs.
Adhere to department budget and provide weekly reports to the department manager.
Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
