DESCRIPTION

Parts Inventory Clerk is expected to track all incoming and outgoing shipments of products and supplies, issuing/obtaining authorization for returned items and preparing and packing shipments.

Candidate must have experience in computer entry and working with an inventory control system as position requires daily updating of the inventory accounting system and preparing purchase requisitions for parts and supplies orders.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical assembly skills and ability to lift up to 75 Lbs., familiarity with Windows-based Office software, MAS 9/200, strong typing skills, and have excellent organization and communication skills.

DUTIES

  • Ensures that all orders are shipped on a daily basis in a timely manner.
  • Checks Purchase Orders against the shipping invoices.
  • Collaborates with the Purchasing Department on any outstanding shipment issues.
  • Schedules all pick up and delivery appointments with companies.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process, including equipment and parts purchases.
  • Maintain inventory and other stock records, Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Review inventory levels and initiate replenishment procedures.
  • Track shipments and orders.
  • Resolves problems concerning over shipments.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks and quarterly audits.
  • Maintain outside storage inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities:
  • May determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while staying on schedule.
  • Advanced spreadsheet (Excel, Access) skills required.
  • Good communication and strong analytical skills required.
  • Accurate number reading and counting ability.
  • Must have working knowledge of MAS 90/200 software, and have dealt with multiple level Bill of Materials.
  • Must be able to transport large parts and boxes.
Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with an inventory control system
  • Experience investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Knowledge of gaming equipment and system components a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication
Work Conditions:
  • This employee will be expected to work in a thermostatically-controlled office environment, and outside.
