This position will provide both clerical and clinical support in a Pediatric setting, allowing for effective patient care. Clinical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: preparing patients for well and sick visits according to protocol,performing hearing and vision tests, specimen collection and transporting as needed, height, weight,vitals and other point of care testing per protocol as well as assisting providers as needed. Clerical responsibilities are but not limited to scheduling patient appointments, completing registrations accurately, verify patient insurance eligibility using NEHEN, collecting and processing co-pays on Safe Pay system, processing referrral orders and Recall appointments for the assigned team. Participates in planned care teams and does outreach calls.

Charge Router, scanning and other projects as assigned. Customer service is a priority. Must love to work with children, teens and families. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following: Pediatric experience required.

Previous experience working in a health care facility. Medical assisting certificate required. Epic & NEHEN experience preferred. Must be proficient with computers.

Ability to work independently and multi task is essential. Must be a team player and be able to coordinate and communicate with other team members. BLS required
