In this role, qualified candidates will be responsible for the following: Clinical Responsibilities: Rooming patients, clean room after patient exam, stocking of clinical areas and lab, ordering supplies from Materials Management, regular inventory and checking for expired supplies and daily/monthly quality controls. Assist providers with clinical exams and procedures. Provide outreach calls to patients. Work with HIV, Geriatrics, and Mental Health patients in a primary care setting. Planned care outreach. Team based care model of care. Front Desk/Registration Responsibilities: Assuring accurate patient registration, copayment collection and demographic information, answering phone calls assisting patients and sending accurate messages to appropriate clinical staff and providers, scheduling patient appointments, referral process, charge entry , medical records and scanning.

Qualified candidates must possess the following: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of Certified Medical Assisting program required. Adult Primary Care, Women's Health and GYN experience required. Knowledge and experience working with computers required. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) programs preferred. Should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. with a focus on customer service and team work.

Scheduled hours will include 1-3 evenings each week. Must be flexible with schedule which will change due to staffing needs. This role requires candidates to physically negotiate the ambulatory site and possess the strength and endurance to perform physically for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) i.e. walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, standing, reaching, squatting. Candidates must also have the physical dexterity and psychomotor skills to respond adequately and appropriately to routine and emergent patient care needs.
