) has an opening for a
full-time Patient Access Representative (8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday; weekend hours as assigned)
The PAR is responsible for the accurate and timely registration for any diagnostic tests and exams.
Ensures proper utilization of computer system to facilitate efficient & effective registration of all procedures.
Maintains good communication skills to work with various departments, physicians & their office staff with registration issues.
Assists with changes in policies & procedures in registration; assists with the training of other employees.
The PAR must have a high school diploma or equivalent and six months windows based computer experience.
Six months to one year experience in a medical and/or financial setting desirable.
Type 35 wpm.
Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
Able to read, write and speak fluent English
