Salary Grade: 5
To perform a variety of routine and specialized patient care activities, as assigned, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Care will be delivered that incorporates Family Centered Care in a cost-effective manner and is developmental and age-appropriate for the patient population.
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is a knowledge of nursing care.
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to perform tasks for numerous patients, communicate effectively with the team, utilize monitoring equipment and basic patient care equipment, computer terminal and telecommunications equipment.
Formal Education and Experience:
The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires completion of a formal Nursing Assistant Program (or similar program) or have equivalent experience.
