This new position will manage the Patient Referral Coordinator staff, manages and analyzes all referral department activities, including the referral appointment process, resolution of problems, tracking of referral metrics. This position will work closely with internal and external parties to achieve organizational goals, most importantly a closed-loop process for patient referrals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Coordinates work of and provides hands-on supervision of the referral coordinators to manage referral appointment requests from all CHN clinic sites.
Directs all referral department activities including scheduling, staffing and daily operations as well as administrative duties such as problem resolution and quality assurance monitoring.
Responsible for hiring, training, on-going supervision and evaluation of all referral coordinator staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Associate Degree with finance, health information, business administration or
hospital administration (work experience may be substituted for degree).
5 years supervisory/lead experience.
