As the major teaching hospital for the states
OB/GYN program, Kapiolani has a highly trained team of physician
specialists, nurses, technologists and therapists that share a
special understanding of women's needs.
Patient Registrar registers patients by obtaining personal and
financial information through direct interviews, phone calls, or
questionnaires. Assists with the coordination of bed assignments and
the completion of preliminary authorization/verification for patients
entering the hospital. Performs registration duties as assigned in
various locations of the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and
Pacific Health is Hawaiis largest health care system including a
network of four hospitals, 44 outpatient clinics & service sites,
and over 1,300 dedicated physicians across the state. We are
5,400+ caring employees strongly committed to health care
excellence. Our facilities include: Kapiolani Medical Center
for Women and Children, Pali Momi Medical Center, Straub Clinic &
Hospital and Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
High School or equivalent.
Medical Terminology course.
Associate's Degree. One year health care or insurance
billing/reimbursement experience, or experience in position w/ heavy
