Proaxis Therapy is looking for a new Patient Representative in the Denver, CO area - to start late December or early January. Compassionate, professional, good-humored individuals are valued here at Proaxis! After all, you are coordinating the care of our most important asset, our patients.

DUTIES

  • Coordinate care for patients:
  • Assist with scheduling post-operative patients and daily visits
  • Assist out-of-town patients transition to therapy at home
  • Pre-call patients to answer outstanding questions
  • Serve as patient advocate
  • Contact patients to follow-up on the Proaxis experience
  • Maintain database of patient feedback/concerns, etc.
  • Maintain physician relations
  • Serve as liaison between patients and Centralized Scheduling/Insurance Verification and Patient Accounts
  • Pre-schedule surgical and follow-up patients
  • Pre-visit Emails: send clinic information to all patients before first visit
  • Introduce self and distribute clinic folders to patients during first visit.
  • Refer out-of-town patients and inpatients to physical therapy clinics close to their homes.
  • Reactivations: contact patients who have self-discharged and schedule them to come back in for treatment
  • Discharge calls and letters
  • Tech work, when appropriate and deemed by clinic manager
  • Patient complaints: serve as liaison between patient and clinic manager
  • Coordinate free screen process
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications
  • Must have appropriate interpersonal skills to enable positive interactions with patients/families and other health care professionals.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team setting, but able to work independently
  • Customer Service Experience
Recommended Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree from a College / University
