General Description: Independent specialty medical office located on the NH Seacoast is looking for an experienced Patient Service Representative. Candidates must be detail oriented and have exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Patient Service Representative provides administrative support to the practice. Major responsibilities include:
-Patient check-in and check-out. Collection of patient balances.
-Answering telephones. Directing patient inquiries appropriately.
-Maintaining patient confidentiality.
-Ensuring patient records are up to date.
-Monitoring patient flow.
Education: High School Diploma required. Experience in customer service strongly preferred.
Experience: Qualified candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and communicate clearly and be extremely well organized. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel and a familiarity with EMR) required.
Salary: This is a part time position (20-30 hours/week). Salary will vary based on years of experience and education.
