This position coordinates schedules of patients in our outpatient Psychiatric Clinic and provides clerical assistance toward the smooth operation of the facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 mos. of solid customer service experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic.

Department Preferences
Applicants meeting preference of outpatient medical experience will be given first priority.

Physical Requirements:
Standard outpatient medical-administrative office environment and exposure, including keyboarding. Up to 20% of this position will require mobility (moving from one room or building to another; traveling to locations in the community; standing for presentations; etc.).

Ability to reach including extending the arm or hand.
Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of the hands, wrists or fingers.
Ability to grasp including applying pressure to objects with fingers or hands.
Ability to speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others.
Ability to hear including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
Ability to see including unique visual requirements above and beyond the standard ability to see with or without corrective eyewear such as color vision, depth perception, etc.

Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 mos solid customer service experience, preferably in an administrative or outpatient medical capacity.

Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
These requirements may be imposed by federal, state or recognized accrediting agency as a prerequisite of employment

Required Skills and Proficiencies:

--Must be proficient on all Microsoft Office applications.
--Must have proficient math skills to be able to accept payments, provide receipts, and balance cash daily.

--Must be able to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, other staff, and patients.
--Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
--Must be able to report to the work location regularly and in a timely manner.
