BOS is currently seeking a qualified Payroll Administrator for our Houston, Texas location. This position is responsible for the preparation, documentation and disbursement of the bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200+ employees in the United States. Includes maintaining the payroll system to achieve alignment with the HR and Benefit systems while applying advanced knowledge of the Ceridian payroll system for continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for all aspects of a bi-weekly US Payroll function including collecting, verifying and processing of payroll, new hires, terminations and salary adjustments

· Respond to and monitor garnishments

· Compile payroll data such as vacation requests, benefits enrollments and changes, and 401(k) deductions

· Interact with individual employees at all levels on payroll matters (i.e., withholding calculations, general payroll questions, available vacation, errors on checks, etc.)

· Process out of cycle payrolls as necessary to conform to US state laws or to correct a payroll check

· Maintain payroll tax account files and registers for all new accounts, including withholding taxes, unemployment insurance and worker’s compensation

· Review memos and correspondence submitted by Human Resources and Benefits each pay period that affects an employee’s paycheck

· Stay abreast of local, state and federal payroll laws and regulations as applicable for the US

· Any other duties as required by manager

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· Minimum 6 years’ experience in full cycle payroll administration

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll taxes with complete understanding of state tax requirements

· Minimum 2 years’ experience using Ceridian HRIS/Payroll, preferably HPL/Latitude

· System skills using MS Office

· Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent time management skills in order to meet deadlines

· Problem analysis and problem resolution skills

· Ability to work weekends and holidays as required

· Associates Degree from an accredited university

· Current APA or Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred

· Training in Ceridian HPL desired
