Job Purpose: Provides accurate and timely payment of regular bi-weekly payroll for employees in assigned business group. Serve as a liaison to employees internal departments and external vendors to resolve payroll issues provide data and/or service as requested. Duties and Responsibilities: Completes employment verifications for external requesters per established organizational guidelines. Provides data for audit and/or legal requests from internal and external customers.

Assists with payroll transmission and translation process. Reviews payroll audit reports before transmission to validate that employees are paid accurately. Conducts follow up with appropriate individual and/or department if additional clarification is required. Reviews and audits automated pay rate change notices for accuracy.

Calculates and processes retro pay as necessary. Reviews and audits other automated notices for accuracy. Conducts follow up with HR or initiating manager for additional clarification if necessary. Investigates and resolves complex payroll problems.

Provides resolution or response to appropriate individuals. Serves as liaison to employees related to pay questions and resolves pay issues. As assigned handles special projects and/or systems with Payroll Services. As assigned works on and participates in implementation training maintenance and upgrades relating to the special projects and/or systems.

As assigned develops and recommends procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency of systems and/or associated processes. As assigned process monthly commission payments for Technology Solutions (TS) Electronics Marketing (EM) and/or Corporate Services Group (CSG). As assigned serves as a resource to International Assignees. Works with outside vendor to ensure accuracy of wage payments and year-end tax statements.

Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of advanced payroll process principles practices and methods. Knowledge of mathematical concepts. Knowledge of customer service principles.

Knowledge of applicable federal state and/or local laws rules and/or regulations. Skill in processing and auditing payroll transactions. Skill in calculating overtime (OT) per relevant federal or state guidelines. Skill in researching complex payroll issues.

Skill in reading comprehending and applying written instructions and/or established guidelines to process payroll or resolve problems. Skill in providing clear and effective verbal and written communication. Work Experience: Minimum five (5) years of payroll processing experience in a large organization. Education and Certification(s): A High School Diploma or G.E.D.
