Process in house bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies. Import labor hours from timecard system. Enter non-recurring earnings elements (bonus, moving, etc) and deductions. Cost payroll and reconcile gross to net reports to system generated journal entry. Print payroll checks and remit direct deposit files to the bank. Reconcile general ledger accounts and submit payments for employee deductions, withholdings and employer liabilities (401(k), benefits, payroll taxes, etc).
High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years experience processing payroll required. Must have excellent organization skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High math aptitude. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Oracle Payroll or other large software vendor preferred. Experience with in-house payroll processing in a multi-state tax environment required. Experience with payrolls of 500 or more employees preferred.
