The Payroll Coordinator will assist with the timely and accurate processing of payroll for over 1,000 employees. The Payroll Coordinator reports to the Payroll Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Enter data such as direct deposits, tax information, garnishment, deductions, etc. into Ultipro.
•Assist with UltiPro and Ceridian payroll processing.
•Reconcile and verify payroll data each pay period.
•Assist with processing of Canadian payroll via Ceridian Canada.
•Initiate US payroll journal entries.
•Maintain employee files.
•Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information.
•Create various payroll reports needed.
•Manually track Canadian employee PTO.
•Provide backup department coverage in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
•An Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field is required.
•Must have at least 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment (1000+ employees, 5 locations).
•Must have strong accounting skills/basic business math skills.
•Proficiency in Word and Excel are required.
•Knowledge of UltiPro and Ceridian is a plus.
•Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through meticulous attention to detail
•Must demonstrate confidentiality.
•Must have the ability to work under strict deadlines.
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings regardless of audience
•Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
