Perform all necessary requirements that will ensure the accurate and timely calculation and distribution of pay to GNC employees using existing controls and processes. Analyzing data as needed to improve current processes/controls, solve problems, and lead Payroll Team in new processes/controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process all payroll information for the accurate and timely calculation and distribution of payments to all General Nutrition employees.
Run and monitor pay processing jobs as required in rotation within Payroll Team.
Research all pay and POS exceptions found on edit reports and make necessary adjustments for accurate payment to employees.
Analyze and verify payroll information as required by payroll supervisor. Analysis of tax queries and preparation of adjustments of taxes and taxables as needed.
Process discrepancies, retros, severance payments, etc. accurately and timely.
Generate Stop payments/reversals within bank processes with subsequent manuals/voids in payroll process.
Updating of payroll department documentation and procedures.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent, and 2-4 years payroll experience
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to identify and resolve ordinary problems.
Able to communicate effectively.
Excellent office skills.
PC Skills, able to create and maintain spreadsheets.
Proficiency with Human Resources payroll systems.
