Prepares payroll maintenance, calculates all pay exceptions (including not limited to: pay changes, LOA, STD, TPP, separated, new hires, retro’s, primary and secondary incentive programs, etc.) Ensures 100% accuracy of FirstMerit EE pay computations / payouts. Balances and maintains payroll controls according to department procedures and audit guidelines. Compiles, reconciles and prepares all payroll regulatory filing on designed time schedule. Comprehends all payroll operations and regulatory procedures.
High School diploma or equivalent plus four years payroll experience. Comprehension of accounting principles and payroll processing procedures. Above average PC, input skills, mathematical, analytical, organizational skills. Able to meet strict deadlines accurately. Excellent oral and written communication skills. PC skills: Microsoft applications.
