The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll.
This position provides all aspects of payroll support and administration including new employee set up, payroll processing, entering of data changes, auditing, reconciliation and garnishment processing. The Payroll Specialist works with the Director of Payroll on project related goals.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum requirements include: a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years payroll experience. The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service skills. The ability to work within deadlines, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications as well as data entry/10-key skills. Experience with Kronos and Lawson preferred.
