Payroll Masters, a full service payroll processing and Payroll Service Bureau software development firm headquartered in the Napa Valley is looking for a full time Payroll Specialist with a proven track record of handling a full range of payroll functions. This is a fast-paced environment with many deadlines and multiple projects.
The ideal candidate is comfortable multi-tasking and is ready to perform both accounting/bookkeeping level functions as well as routine office duties such as filing and answering the phone.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel; Access a plus. Excellent typing and data-entry skills (10-key by touch), ability to interpret data effectively, with an exceptional level of accuracy. Experience with time and attendance, retirement plans, §125 plans, HSA, workers' comp, garnishments, cost centering and general ledger entries desirable. Attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize; track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits.

- Associates degree in accounting, HR or related field, minimum of 2 years payroll or bookkeeping experience necessary.
Ability to adapt to work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressures. Self-directed, able to work independently with little supervision; resourceful and punctual. Exceptional customer service abilities and experience.
A team player that maintains a good, professional working relations with superiors, peers, subordinates and other department managers and personnel.
