Directly supervises 8-10 employees in the Payroll and Time and Labor Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; ensuring proper internal controls are followed; coordinating with HR, Payroll and IT to analyze new business requirements, configuation, data conversion, testing, production processing, and support;

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) with concentration in Accounting or Tax from four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and payroll related experience.
Experience with large employee base (10,000 employees or more).
Knowledge of Payroll/HR software systems, Time and Labor software, spreadsheet and word processing software.
Experience with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Payroll and Kronos is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
