Upcoming retirements are creating exciting opportunities for BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join our eight-member group at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. The 13-bed PICU has an average daily census of seven, approximately 750 annual admissions and full sub-specialty support. In addition to a busy sedation program with over 4,000 cases per year, our services include ECMO, CRRT, high frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide. The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship that included training in congenital heart disease as well as ECMO, and will have the ability to function well on a team-oriented, multidisciplinary service. Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital has the only pediatric intensive care unit in southwest Washington. The hospital recently approved a $200 million dollar budget to rebuild and expand the PICU, NICU, and pediatric ward over the next two to three years.
