High School Diploma or equivalency required. This person is currently or has been a recipient of mental health services. Effective communication skills with individuals, clinical and medical staff as well as community partners are required.
This person will be providing coaching, mentoring, and consultation to individuals to help with their recovery, self-advocacy, and assist in developing skills that will improve symptoms related to mental health diagnosis; promoting wellness management strategies that increase physical and mental health concerns; participate in bi-monthly staffing with other integrated health care staff to update and collaborate regarding progress within service; completes all required training; provides timely documentation to supervisor; Linking individuals to community resources; promote skills within the models of WRAP (wellness recovery action plan) and WHAM (whole health action management)
