Tutors assist students in academic achievement by meeting them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Tutoring is a supplement to teaching. Duties will include tutoring and assisting students in academic achievement by meeting them on a regular basis, filing, photocopying, paperwork distribution, answering phones, greeting students, light data entry, retrieving and sorting mail and answering general inquiries.
Completion of a particular course in which tutoring is being done with earning at least a "B" and overall GPA of 3.0. Recommendations from an instructor of each course you wish to tutor. Good interpersonal communication skills. Good level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
