Under general supervision, installs, configures, designs, supports and diagnoses application systems. Promote changes through the use of Phire Architect.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Promote changes through the use of Phire Architect adhering to SOX policies and procedures.
Identify, download and apply maintenance packs, bundles and fixes to PeopleSoft and Kronos modules.
Identify, download and apply maintenance to Kronos timeclocks.
Set up and trouble shoot new/existing Kronos timeclocks.
Install and configure PeopleSoft components. These include WebLogic, Tuxedo, nVision, application servers, NT and AIX process schedulers, REN servers.
Set up, configure and test Integration broker gateway, services, service operations, queues, routings and application messages for internal and external integrations.
Identify, download and apply PeopleTools upgrades and patches.
Research issues with application middleware, database, etc. and recommend/apply solutions such as configuration changes to O/S, WebLogic, PeopleSoft, Tuxedo, Java, etc., additional hardware, memory, CPUs, etc.
Identify problematic SQL and work with developers, analysts and DBA’s to resolve.
Optimize and tune the PeopleSoft application components (excluding AIX and Windows servers and the Oracle databases).
Assist developers and analysts with ad hoc SQLs.
Create shell scripts and cronjobs as needed on the AIX servers.
Coordinate with infrastructure system administrators and DBAs to trouble shoot application issues in PeopleSoft and Kronos environments (production, test, development, etc.).
Install, maintain and troubleshoot PeopleSoft single signon software (Grey Sparling).
Configure application authentication with Active Directory.
Set up and support SSL.
Support installation, maintenance and upgrade of Quest Foglight for monitoring PeopleSoft production environments.
Provide support for the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) application, libraries and clients.

Work with customers and analysts to develop scripts used to perform load testing.
Use load testing tool to perform tests to determine application load capabilities.
Assist with set up and use of UC4 for batch scheduling.

Experience installing and configuring all PeopleSoft components on Windows and AIX servers.
Experience setting up, configuring and testing Integration Broker gateway, services, service operations, nodes, queues, routings and application messages for internal and external integrations.
Experience identifying, downloading and applying PeopleTools upgrades, bundles and fixes using Change Assistant.
Experience with HRMS 9.1, FSCM 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.51 required.
Experience working closely with DBAs and server administrators to quickly identify and resolve performance issues.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Experience in the oil and gas industry.
