Job Responsibilities:
Performing all aspects of PeopleSoft technical activities including: software architecture, technical design, design reviews, prototype development and demonstration, programming, unit testing, and system testing for all new application development initiatives and production support requirements.
Leading design sessions, prototypes, demonstrations, etc with technical team and client community to establish requirements and technical design.
Providing strategic direction for current and future releases of functionality. Communicating proposed topics out to all parties. Supporting Functional personnel in the requirements analysis process, including translation of functional requirements and design to technical requirements and design.
Validating technical capabilities and requirements prior to final release phase, manage all application fix and release processes.
The candidate must be very conversant and experienced PeopleSoft Federal HRMS programs. Candidate must be able to interface with both functional and technical PeopleSoft HRMS staff, as well as client personnel and have excellent oral and written communication.

Operation and Maintenance (O&M) development activities including:
Global Employment Management System (GEMS) – PeopleSoft Solution
Employee / Manager Self Service
Awards/Promotions
Concurrent appointments
CRM support of additional customizations
Current Requirements/Tasks
Understand and implement PeopleSoft Upgrade & patch management
Provide production Support for HRMS and CRM systems
Design and Develop department of state Award and concurrent appointment process
Development of Interfaces with other system(s) as required
