Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint for solutions to business objectives. Critical resource responsible for supporting the production environment and resolving urgent problems to achieve service level agreements.xa0xa0 The position reports to the PeopleSoft Development Manager. Position is on-call for application support and incident management. Essential Job Functions Applications Analysis Works directly with partners and clients to determine project scope and specifications.

Participates in all phases of the development and implementation process, and may act as a project manager on special projects. Partners with business analysts and systems analysts to determine requirements to achieve and design enterprise web application architecture that meets business objectives. Conducts hands-on requirements gathering, analysis, development and implementation of approved upgrades, enhancements, and changes to corporate web sites. Designs integration of web applications across the business systems to ensure service level and performance.

Applications Development and Support Assesses upgrades, enhancements and changes to web applications to determine the riskimpact to the architecture and operational aspects of the application. Recommends technical approaches to minimize business impact and maximize web application utilization and performance. Determines specifications, plans, designs.xa0 Develops the most complex and business critical solutions either individually or with the project team. Documents object design decisions, estimating assumptions, applets, and performance metricsas required by organization architecture process standards, or as assigned.

Provides both ad-hoc support and structured training to web content authors that span all regions and practices. Provide thought leadership for web portal technologies andxa0 maintains an in-depth understanding of leading web technologies. Application Troubleshooting Resolves the most difficult support problems. Diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft system related production errors to ensure service level agreements are achieved.

Interact with other PeopleSoft developers, database administrators, security analysts and business system users in this effort. Interfaces with IT disciplines, vendors and professional services providers to ensure service level achievement. Additional Responsibilities Produces work plans in support of project deliverables. Responsible for achieving project budget, schedule and functional objectives.

Requirements 5+ years experience in PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal or Web 2.0 Demonstrated expertise in Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler Knowledge of portal features such as Content Management, Search, Security, and Single Sign-On Knowledge of Web 2.0, WSRP, and JSR standards preferred Knowledge of Software development in JAVA, AJAX, JavaScript and other scripting languages Experience in web server applications and web services preferred Available 7X24 for production support Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills .
